Gymnastics' Lessons

Tonight was Morghan's first gymnastics' practice. It was a hairy situation to begin with, due to Morghan not wanting to participate when the stretching began. As the "teacher" mother, I almost jerked her up and STRONGLY encouraged her to participate. Instead, I sat back and just observed what would happen next. To my pleasant surprise, Kolin and I found ourselves watching a child run, bounce, and loving life. She completed all the stations and could not sit still or wipe the smile off her face. The instructors had to refocus her a few times while she was hopping happily around the gym. All in all, it was a successful first lesson in which Morghan left in tears, begging to go back!
